• Certificates Earned – Records of certificates generated upon successful quiz completion.
• Device Information – Basic device and OS information used for app compatibility and troubleshooting.

We do not collect passwords, email addresses, financial information, location data, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

03 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to operate and improve the Vidya Mine Life Skills app:

• To authenticate you via OTP and give you secure access to the app.
• To personalise your in-app experience with your name and progress.
• To save and display your learning progress across modules and lessons.
• To generate and store certificates after you pass quizzes.
• To enable progress tracking so you can resume lessons anytime.
• To improve app performance, content quality, and user experience.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the app.

• Your phone number is stored in a secured database with restricted access.
• OTPs are time-limited and invalidated immediately after use.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited situations:

• OTP Delivery – Your phone number is shared with an SMS/OTP service provider solely to deliver the one-time password for login.
• Legal Obligations – We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests from government authorities.
• Business Operations – Trusted service providers who assist in operating our backend infrastructure, under strict confidentiality agreements.

Any third-party service providers we engage are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose.

Vidya Mine Life Skills is designed for general audiences including students and young learners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without verified parental consent.

08 OTP & Phone Number Usage

Our app uses a phone number and One-Time Password (OTP) system for authentication. Here is how it works:

• When you enter your phone number, an OTP is sent via SMS to verify your identity.
• If your number is already registered, you are directly logged into the app after OTP verification.
• If you are a new user, you will be asked for your name once, after which your account is created.
• OTPs are single-use, time-sensitive, and automatically expire if unused.
• Your phone number is never displayed publicly or shared with other users.
